Elijah & Isabella
Vision
Elijah was looking for a Christmas gift for his wife that encapsulated how wonderful a mother his wife has been in their new journey together. He sent me the perfect reference photo and mentioned how it reminded him of Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss", and from there, this glowing 16in x 20in oil painting was created! I was super happy with this entire process and feel that I've captured the warmth of a mother's love through warm hues and glazing techniques that makes the painting feel back lit.

Vision
Courtney found my instagram page and inquired about a wedding portrait based on a series of photos she sent me from her wedding she had in New Orleans! I was especially excited about this inquiry because they live out of state and this was my first inquiry that stemmed from an online network. Courtney wanted a 'remix' of photos, combining the banana themed wallpaper in her airbnb the time of their wedding as well as the series of paintings in the Pontchartrain Hotel in New Orleans. By doing so we together conceptualized and created the perfect image that captures the essence of New Orleans as well as the elegance of her wedding.
